September update

A busy summer term for Northampton Sings – the choir supported two local events –
The Northampton Carnival and the Central Vineyard open day using the chance to
showcase the songs we have been learning. We’ve also worked on a special project
with the Legend on the Bench charity, which saw us in a recording syudio, watch this
space for more news on that soon!
After a well earnt rest over the summer, Northampton Sings has started off the new
term running! Sunday 13 th September saw choir members cheering and singing to
the Amazing Northampton Run runners – singing at the halfway point, was a good
opportunity to belt out several old favourites, including ‘Livin on a Prayer’ and ‘Wake
me Up’ complete with Kazoos!
Choir rehearsals have begun again, first week back and straight into learning a new
song as an a cappella! Events already planned for October and December.
First week is free then £3 per week – meet at Central Vineyard 7:00-8:30pm each
